The Chairman of the International Cricket Council has hailed the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 as "the most popular in history," following a record crowd at the final played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday. The match, which saw Australia win over New Zealand to take out the Cup for the fifth time, was attended by 93,013 fans - a new record for One Day international attendance. In total, 1,016,421 people attended the 49 matches over 44 days across Australia and New Zealand. Find out more
