According to findings from Sojern, a travel data company, travellers around the world searched for holidays of eight or more days more than they searched for travel lasting one week or less. Middle East and African travellers searched for the longest holidays with 56% of those travellers planning a holiday of 14 days or more and 71% planning a trip eight days or more. This event beats travellers from Europe, which is renowned for its ample and mandatory time-off. June and July were the most-searched months for travel across all continents in the July to September period, with school bells heavily influencing these plans.
