The UNWTO’S Tourism Highlights presents an overview of international tourism based on the results for the year 2014. The report highlights international tourism arrivals and receipts on a global level, in addition to presenting regional results and forecasts. According to the report, international tourist arrivals worldwide are expected to increase by 3.3% a year between 2010 and 2030 to reach 1.8 billion. The strongest growth by region will be seen in Asia and the Pacific, where arrivals are forecast to reach 535 million in 2030. Click here to download the report.
